When Acquire first starts up it allows the system integrator to set up the HMI screens. Once the HMI screens have been setup the interface will need to be locked down so operators can use it without making unwanted changes to the setup of Acquire.

Configuration Mode:

Configuration mode lets the system integrator define how Acquire should work and allows then to build the P&ID, screens and reports etc.

Administration Mode:

Administration mode provides the server administrator with the ability to set up user accounts and administrate the server settings. 

Operator Mode:

Operator mode provides the user the ability to access the HMI screens. Setup users to allow individual operators to log in to the HMI screens.

To Password Protect Configuration Mode:

 Select 'Change Config Password' from the 'Config' menu.

Enter the configuration password and click the 'OK' button.

Once the password has been entered select 'Exit Config Mode' from the 'Config' menu. This will put you back down to Administration mode.

To Password Protect Administrator Mode:

Select 'Change Admin Password' from the 'Admin' menu.

Enter the new administrator password and click the 'OK' button.

Once the password has been entered select 'Exit Admin Mode' from the 'Admin' menu. This will put you back down to Operator mode.

To Enter Admin / Configuration Mode:

Select 'Enter Password' from the 'Server' menu.

Enter either the administration or configuration mode password and click OK. You will go directly in to the mode based on the password you entered.
